How recognition works

Recognition follows one person's certificate to one specific location. It is never granted automatically by finishing the course.

    An individual enrols in Pre-Trichology Foundations

    The course is taken by a person, not a business. Eight modules, 60 lessons with quizzes, and eight module reviews, all self-paced with saved progress.

    They complete the required learning and pass the final knowledge assessment

    Module reviews first, then the final knowledge assessment. Answers are never revealed, and attempts are recorded.

    They receive their individual Certificate of Completion

    Issued once by Trichology.com Education with a unique certificate ID and a public verification page.

  4. 4
    They link their certificate to a salon location and request recognition

    A salon representative submits the location and names the certificate holder. The holder must confirm the affiliation from their own account — entering a public certificate ID alone claims nothing.

    Once verified, the location receives its designation and linked badge

    We review the certificate and the staff relationship. Applications stay pending until that review is complete. The location then gets a unique salon verification ID, a public verification page, and the badge that links to it.

Keeping a designation accurate
  • The minimum requirement is at least one verified certificate holder currently working at that specific location.
  • If the qualifying person leaves, or their certificate is revoked, the location stops showing an active designation unless another verified qualifying staff member remains.
  • An individual's certificate is never expired or revoked simply because they leave a salon or their course access ends.
